Locking and Unlocking a Client Disclosure Checklist

You can lock a checklist at the client level. A locked checklist is indicated by the icon in the Status column on the All Clients page. When a checklist is locked, it is still viewable in read-only mode, but cannot be edited without first unlocking it. If you unlock a checklist, you must provide a reason for unlocking the file. AutoCheck maintains a lock/unlock history for each client disclosure checklist.

Warning: Any notes that are not marked for roll forward are purged when you lock a client checklist. Verify that all notes that should be retained are marked to roll foward before locking a checklist.

Tip: We recommend verifying that you have all necessary sign-offs and that there are no outstanding diagnostics before locking a disclosure checklist.
